Artist Na Kim (b. 1979) studied Industrial Design at KAIST and Hongik University before graduating from the Art Academy in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Moving fluidly between design and fine art, she has presented a distinctive body of work both in Korea and internationally. Collecting objects, events, phrases, and images encountered in everyday life, she explores the dissonances and underlying structures embedded within them. Drawing out the memories and contexts permeating these collected elements, she realizes them in spatial installations, publications, and various forms of documentation, creating works that invite viewers to reflect upon themselves.

As the first exhibition in the rooftop space, Galleries 6 and 7, newly opened to the public since the founding of the KAIST Museum, the artist presents three works that evoke fleeting moments in which sensory elements pass through and unsettle one another. Walking among tall columns, visitors trace the invisible paths of the wind. As they slowly ascend and descend a staircase, they experience shifting perspectives shaped by height. Gazing into a circular mirror placed on the ground, they encounter the sky, drifting clouds, and their own reflection. The three works are experiential installations premised on the movement of the viewer, encouraging an active awakening of the senses within the space.

Space, beyond its physical dimensions, is a medium through which time and experience are shared. In this rooftop setting, the artist invites visitors to walk, climb, and pause, rediscovering both nature and themselves through these movements. Awakening senses often overlooked in daily life and prompting introspection, the exhibition ultimately becomes a journey inward.
